One of the great things about photography is that you can give two people exactly the same knowledge and equipment, locate them in the same place and even tell them what they should shoot yet the results will always be totally different.
In light of that point a great tip for improving your photography is to always trust your instincts and go with what YOU think is a good idea. One of the points we often make on this site is to just fire away because that moment in time, that unique opportunity will never happen again.
Of course the “fire away” method can often end in disaster but really, what have you lost? A few megabytes of data space on your memory card that can be retrieved by hitting the Erase button!
The truth is by simply going with the flow you maximize your chances of capturing that unique moment that no-one else did.
